AUTHENTIC RAMEN
We use ramen produced by master noodle makers Nishiyama SeimenJapan’s most well loved producers of ramen noodles. We are currently the only Japanese restaurant authorised to use their noodles in Oceania.
SEASONAL ITEMS
We use mostly local ingredients, and create seasonal dishes for all to enjoy. Keep and eye out for our new dishes, and give them a try while you can.
SAKE RANGE
Our range of sake consists of carefully selected Ginjo Junmai sake. Each sake has been hand picked to pair perfectly with our ramen.
Meet the chef
Kuma-San
Born in Kobe, Japan, Kuma-san immigrated to New Zealand in 2001. Having worked many jobs in his lifetime, his dream was always to open a Japanese restaurant specialising in ramen.
He travelled to Hokkaido in order to train as a ramen chef. Upon returning to Auckland, he brought back a depth of knowledge and experience. Even then, he spent countless more hours developing his recipes into the refined masterpiece we know today.
